Basics for Internet marketeers
The basic things you should know before start earning online or promoting your online business. Maybe you can find very useful resources online which you might consider to be helpful for your internet marketing planning.I am not an expert.I have found that one should know each and every meaning of the terms associated with internet marketing,online affiliate programs and earning online.So lets start. Maybe you have come accross to terms like url submissions,search engines,meta tags,meta keywords,search engines etc etc..Lets start with search engines(just basics). Usually there are 4 major search engines.They are:
i) Crawler based search engines.
ii)Directories.
iii)Hybrid engines.
iv)Pay per performance and paid inclusion engines. i)crawler based engines are traditional or common search engines that use special software to crawl sites.Such softwares are referred to as bot,robot or spiders.
ii)Directories require manual submission and they use certain mechanism(eg.CAPTCHA) and usually evaluated by editors to ascertain whether or not to include the site.Examples DMOZ(Directory Mozilla)
iii)Hybrid engines also known as META engines.Such engines use other search engines results.They combine search results from a number of search engines.For example Metasearch.com
iv)Pay per performance charge a a sum of fee in order to keep your site listed or top ranked for keywords of your choice. Note: GOOGLE and YAHOO search engines don't consider meta keywords. |
