Ways to promote your articles,blogs.

Whenever you publish blogs it takes time to appear in search engine results. Before its appears in search engines we personally can promote our blogs/sites to make them visible among readers.As I ususlly follow what I am going to mention.These are my own opinion based on my experience. There are many ways to promote your blogs(whether it is in yousaytoo,hubpages,squidoo,qassia,blogs). You need to find just the right place. From my point of view there are,I think,four ways to promote--- 1)Submitting to social bookmarking and networking sites. 2)Submitting to search engines. 3)Adding your blog links to other blogs in hubpages,squidoo etc.,in the signature in forums and article directories. 4)Submitting RSS feeds. 1) If it comes to social bookmarking we can just think of Digg,Delicious,Reddit.But my friends there are many bookmarking sites that are more poweful than those I mentioned. For example you can use twitter,Tagfoot,Plugim,Simpy and plus more(an endless list). Another way of popularising your blog is through social networking sites, For example Myspace,Facebook,Bebo,Multiply,Friendster,Tagged,Hi5. 2)Links can be submitted to search engines also. There are many sites that offer search engine submissions.However their service is not free. Also there are numerous softwares which enables submissions to search engines. Also they are not free of charge.If it is free still there is a disadvantage of submission to limited search engine only. There is an online service which I think you might be interesting. You can try the service of weceo.com. Their service is impressive. Their software enables you to submit your sites/blogs to more than 1000 search engines free of charge.Though it is the free edition. The software is unique in itself with various specail features.You can check the most competitive tags online,sites that are in top of the list, tutorial on Search engine optimization and more. 3)You can link your blogs to the blogs in Hubpages,Squidoo etc because in this way your blog can receive targeted visitors.Another way is to join some seo and other useful forums and provide links in your signature and take active part in discussions. There are countless of such forums.But in my opinion not every forums are effective. I can suggest a forum that specialises in SEO,link building,getting traffic,page ranks and other realted topics. The name of the forum is conqueryourniche.com. It allows you to add a site or blog and everytime time you login,start discussions you earn credits and later assign those credits to display your site/blog. I get some of my readers from this way to my blog. Also search some niche forums in Google. 4)Submitting RSS feeds is also an effective way of promotion. It is the best way your blog/site get noticed by search engines.Another advantage of RSS feed submission is that everytime you publish a post it autiomatically gets updated and saves plenty of time.Here is a list of sites for RSS feeds submission: -Feedbees.com -R ssmountain.com/rss_directory.php -Feedsee.com -Geekyspeeky.com(reciprocal link required for free submission). -Reedburner.com -Freewebs.com/blogotion/ -Rsshugger.com -Myblog2u.com -Bloglisting.com -Feedbury.com -Rssmicro.com -Blog-search.com -Millionrss.com -9rules.com -Genwi.com -Feedage.com -Myfeedz.com Plus more.The best way to find information about RSS feed submission is to conduct some searches and you will get an endless list of sites. Though I am not an expert,but still I hope this article can be helpful atleast to give you some ideas. |
